I live and write near Carbondale, Illinois with my wife of over four decades and two desert tortoises. I write fiction under the name Mitchell Poole and my short stories about citizens whose lives are interrupted and changed by the events of September 11 will be available in 2009. My next poetry book, Connecting the Dots, will be available in late 2009. His book of short stories "Late Arrivals" will be published in late 2009 also.
