About Jim

I live and write near Carbondale, Illinois with my wife of over four decades, two desert tortoises and Chloe the cat. I write fiction under the name Mitchell Poole and my short story book about citizens whose lives are interrupted and changed by the events of September 11 will be available in 2009.

Two of my poems were published in the most recent edition of the poetry magazine A Hudson View.
