I write and live near Carbondale, Illinois with my wife of 45 years and two desert tortoises. I write fiction under the name Mitchell Poole. A book of my fiction, Rogue Poet and Late Arrivals will be available in 2011. My next poetry book, Flags Having Flown, will be available in fall-2010.

I have had poetry published in A Hudson View, Pegasus, Literary House Review and a short story published in Literary House Review. I am now an editor for a New York publisher as well.
